They have The T-Shirt Room, 449668 U.S. Hwy 301, Callahan, FL, just in back of CVS Pharmacy on the corner of US 301 and US 1. You can visit them in person from 10 am – 6 pm, Monday-Friday and 10 am – 3 pm Saturday. Their online store: www.thetshirtroom.com, is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

After looking into the job market and finding nothing, they decided to invest their savings and start a business in beautiful downtown Callahan and do what people used to do, work where they live.

Members of the Greater Nassau County Chamber of Commerce, they not only sell T-Shirts and all manner of apparel but also do custom designs work. They feature Premier Design Yard displays such as those shown on the left, above, as well.

Just a few of the businesses already taking advantage of Skip and Rita’s The T-Shirt Room are: Johnson’s Automotive Repair, Callahan; Ron’s Lawn & Landscaping, Parris Marble & Tile, Mailbox Specialists, M&K Handyman, JR Horton Construction, Luv2Ride Trailriders, Lighthouse Cleaning, and parents and players of the West Nassau High School Warriors.

Skip also came up with the design on my business card,

something I proudly give to anyone I meet. My wife suggested the name denoting snippets of news and snapshots (photos). Skip came up with the rest and also put it on a couple of shirts and jackets for me.

Besides my business card, I just discovered they have a carry bag using my emblem backed by a drawing depicting Callahan, Florida.

Jerry and Son's Produce

Jerry Daughtry will begin his third year operating Jerry & Son’s Produce in the same location on the right side US 1 just outside Callahan on the way to Hilliard, Monday, November 30.

Born and raised in Callahan, he and his son have a great variety of excellent produce including citrus fruits at reasonable prices.

Just some of their produce includes cabbage, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, tomatoes, green onions, collard greens, oranges (both red and navel) among many others. They also sell various kinds of plants during season. They accept cash, credit or debit cards.

Jerry also operates The Bull’s Concrete Construction, a company which has been “First in Quality Since 1975.” You can reach Jerry regarding both his produce and his concrete by calling his cell phone: (904) 229-3145. Both licensed and insured Jerry offers free estimates besides guaranteeing the best prices. His concrete work includes driveways, patios, walkways and slabs.
